Meet The Team

Charlotte lives and breathes animals – most of her everyday life revolves around them. She founded AniMate in 2018 while studying for her BSc in Zoology, and her long-lived obsession with animal behaviour led to her undertaking a master’s in Clinical Animal Behaviour with the University of Edinburgh.

From 2018-2026, AniMate offered regular classes for puppies, adolescent, and adult dogs, from basic training to hoopers, scentwork, and rally, as well as behaviour consultations for dogs and people who needed additional support.

In July 2026, following a lifelong dream to work with horses, Charlotte made the move to Yorkshire to work in the retraining of ex-racehorses. She is continuing to take on canine behaviour cases and dog behaviour remains an integral part of her life.
